Norvasc
Common Uses:
Norvasc is a calcium channel blocker used to control high blood
pressure or chest pain (angina).
Directions:
Follow the directions for using Norvasc provided by your Pharmacist,
Physician or Primary Care Provider. Avoid drinking greapfruit juice
while taking Norvasc. Store at room temperature in a tightly-closed
container, away from heat and light. If you miss a dose, and remember
it the same day, take it as soon as possible. If you do not remember
until the next day, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular
dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
Side Effects:
Side effects that may occur while taking Norvasc include tiredness,
redness of face or neck, nausea, or abdominal pain. If they continue
or are bothersome, check with your Pharmacist, Physician or Primary Care Provider. Check with your Pharmacist, Physician or Primary Care Provider
as soon as possible if you experience swelling of your feet or legs;
tender, bleeding, or swollen gums; a fast or irregular heartbeat;
difficulty breathing; or rash or itching. If you notice any effects,
consult your Pharmacist, Physician or Primary Care Provider.
