Common Uses:

Xenical is a gastrointestinal lipase inhibitor used to treat obesity.

Follow the directions for using Xenical provided by your Pharmacist,
Physician or Primary Care Provider. Xenical comes with a patient
information leaflet, read it completely. Take with or up to 1 hour
after each main meal that contains fat. Taking with low-fat meals
will lessen the side effects that can occur. If you miss a meal

are taking a multi-vitamin, take it either 2 hours before or 2 hours
after taking Xenical. Store at room temperature below 77 degrees
F (25 degrees C), away from heat and light. If you miss a dose,
skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule.
Do not take 2 doses at once.

Side Effects:

Side effects that may occur while taking Xenical include oily stools
or spotting, increased number of bowel movements, bowel movement
urgency, poor bowel movement control, or gas with discharge. If
you notice any effects, consult your Pharmacist, Physician or Primary
